![]() GRR FOLD RUSH. Take the legendary Gold Rush, place an
elastomer shock in the top tube with a well placed pivot down low yielding a
no pogo suspension for some extra cush. Then have a simple single pin
release to pivot the rear triangle of the bike up under the top tube for a
transportable size that is shorter than a short wheelbase design, and it’s

The X5 is the one we can't keep in stock more than a few minutes. Based on the GT5 series, the X5 has 10- degrees more seat recline and positive cambered front wheels for more stability when pushing the envelope. Very quick acceleration, and one with the machine feel. Fold it quick for an easy fit into the car. Oh, and the unstoppable smile.

TRICE TRIKES FROM ENGLAND

ICE HPV in England has been building Trice trikes since 1998. Quality is first rate with 4130 Chrome Moly mid frames brazed together
and finished in very high gloss powder coat in Red, Blue, or Black. The rear section and front boom are 7075 heat treated aluminum
finished
in a bead blast texture. Rear suspension, a special 9-32 version of the Shimano Caprio cassette to provide a wide gear range,
negative
scrub radius steering, folding format, adjustable reach / width handlebar system, cartridge sealed bearings all around, and
1:1
actuation SRAM shifting are common to all models.
The choices of mesh or composite seating, standard or narrow track, drum or disc brakes, 20" wheels all around with rear suspension
or 26"/700c rear triangle option, and 2 personalities in the T and Q chassis' allow you to personalize.

T stands for Tour and this trike is an excellent choice for cruising along your favorite trails. The T maneuvers easily and the rear suspension is very comfortable on uneven pavement. The 7" ground clearance makes the T versatile for all terrain ventures. What brings a lot of people to the T is the unique seat / crank relationship compared to other "tadpole" trikes. At 12.5", the seat height is at least 4.5" higher than other tadpole designs so getting in and out is easier. The crank position is lower than your hips as well, so if you always liked the tadpole format, but preferred the lower crank position, the T is your trike. Top line Schwalbe tires are included as well as an adjustable seat angle range of 44-49 degrees. |

Q stands for Quick and this trike delivers what its name promises. This machine handles with sure-footed confidence and is nothing short of exhilarating to ride. The tunable rear suspension is extremely comfortable on uneven pavement. The Trice Q comes as standard with the ultra cool and comfortable mesh seat. For ultimate performance you may want to spec your Trice Q with the optional hard shell seat. Turning your Q into an ultra fast trike, with the hard shell seat installed there is a massive 16 degrees of adjustment available for the seat angle (28-44?). To maximize the aerodynamic advantage of recumbents you need to recline your position. The hard shell seat allows you to do this more so than the mesh seat. If you want to go very fast you also need a solid platform for efficient power production and the hard shell seat does this best. The contoured shape is also enhanced by a unique set of lower body side supports made by ICE to improve cornering performance. Q 700/26 rear wheel option shown at right. |

At Angletech, we have enjoyed a long relationship with master frame builder Mark Nobilette. He builds our QuadraPed & TriSpeeder recumbent trikes. One of the little known projects we work with Mark on is folding upright road bikes using the Montague double seat tube patent. You can enjoy full on road bike performance with easy travel capability without sacrifice. The “tube within a tube” at the seat tube gives an unencumbered flex free solution. When you look at the frame details here, you see seamless fillet brazed construction (almost forgotten these days), Reynolds 853 butted tubing, and a cool True Temper Aero downtube as an elegant and functional solution for a clean fold. Made to your body dimensions and shown here in Chromeillusion paint. |
