CHALLENGE TRIKE ALIZE
From the Concept Trike, Challenge has continued development with the addition of the Alizé.
The Alizé brings rear suspension and a fold in half feature that is quick, easy, and compact.

From the Sims in
Australia, the most well known tadpole trike design. Introduced in the mid '90's, Greenspeed has built it's whole culture around trikes.
Sport, touring, and race variations make up the line.
The quickest fold in the trike world. One bolt and the seat is off, then one quick release lever and the X and GT series fold in half.
Greenspeed has a stellar
reputation for solid, well built trikes, top level seat design, and has been a leader in steering geometry. If you don find exactly what you like in what you
see here, then Greenspeed has a Custom Shop where your ideal trike can be built. |
X5
 |
 |
The X5 is the one we can't keep
in stock more than a few minutes.
The X5 has 10-
degrees more seat recline than the GT series, and positive cambered
front wheels for more
stability when pushing the envelope. Very quick acceleration, a one with
the machine feel.
Fold it quick for an easy fit into a
small car.
The grab and go sports trike of the line.

experience in a 30 second fold format. Our most popular Greenspeed series. People like the GT series for its great acceleration, excellent seat design,
a significantly tighter turning circle than many brands, excellent ergonomics including a true S size that scales the whole trike to that size, frame, crank length, and seat size
for a real custom fit.
19-95 gear inch range in the drive. The folded size is 32 x 28 x 15 inches. |

ICE TRIKES FROM ENGLAND
 |
ICE HPV in England has been building ICE trikes since 1998. Quality is first rate with 4130 Chrome Moly mid frames TIG welded together
and finished in very high gloss laquer overcoated powder coat finishes. The rear section and front boom are 7075 heat treated aluminum
in a durable and attractive hard anodized finish. Negative
scrub radius steering for that "self centering" feeling, ICE Compact Flat Twist folding format on all models make transport easy , ICE Custom Quad Bend adjustable reach / width handlebar system, cartridge sealed bearings all around, and
1:1
actuation SRAM shifting are common to most models.
The choices of mesh or composite seating, drum or disc brakes, 20" wheels all around
or 26"/700c rear triangle choices, rear and full suspension options within 3 personalities in the Adventure, Sprint, and Vortex chassis' allow you to personalize.

The Adventure series is suited for touring and is an excellent choice for cruising along your favorite trails. The Adventure comes in 3 series. Adventure 1 and 1-26 are hard tails with folding rear sections in 20" and 26" rear wheel choices. The Adventure 2 and 2 FS add rear suspension and full suspension respectively along with component upgrades. The Adventure 3 and 3 FS series keep the suspension choices and step the components up one final level to Dura Ace bar end shifters and hydraulic disc brakes. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.
What brings a lot of people to the Adventure is the unique seat / crank relationship compared to other "tadpole" trikes. At 12.5", the seat height is at least 4.5" higher than other tadpole designs so getting in and out is easier. The crank position is lower than your hips as well, so if you always liked the tadpole format, but preferred the lower crank position, the Adventure is your trike.
Top line Schwalbe tires are included as well as an adjustable seat angle range of 44-49 degrees. Ground clearance is 7", so off road temptations along the way are an easy choice.
ICE Road Response rear suspension has an anti squat geometry for hill climbing integrity. Ice Road Response front suspension features a leading link design with built in anti dive geometry for smoothness without drama.

Folded dimensions:
37.4-46.5" L x 31.3" W x 22.4 - 24.8" H depending on format.

The Sprint series is suited for all around use but with more attitude and zoom on your mind. The Sprint comes in 3 series. Sprint 1 and
1-26 are hard tails with folding rear sections in 20" and 26" rear wheel choices. The Sprint 2 and 2 FS add rear suspension and full suspension respectively along with component upgrades. The Sprint 3 and 3 FS series keep the suspension choices and step the components up one final level to Dura Ace bar end shifters and hydraulic disc brakes. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.
What brings a lot of people to the Sprint is the more aerodynamic lower and reclined seat position with corrisponding higher crank elevation. Faster, more direct power delivery also comes along with the Sprint.
Top line Schwalbe tires are included as well as an adjustable seat angle range of 28-44 degrees.
ICE Road Response rear suspension has an anti squat geometry for hill climbing integrity. Ice Road Response front suspension features a leading link design with built in anti dive geometry for smoothness without drama.

Folded dimensions:

Vortex stands for Quick in ICE language, and this trike delivers what its name promises. The Vortex has a performance bias in its design detail and components.
The Vortex comes in 2 series, Vortex 1 series are hard tails with folding rear sections in 20" and 700" rear wheel choices, slick Kojak tires, and aero rims. TheVortex 2 series push the Vortex faster with a carbon fiber seat upgrade, and top level SRAM X.9 / X.0 components. Dura Ace bar end shifter option is on the list too. All details are shown side by side in our Specifications and Prices link below.
To maximize the aerodynamic advantage of recumbents you need to recline your position. The hard shell seat allows you to do this more so than the mesh seat VIA ist more open hip position, dropping your shoulders out of the wind the most. If you want to go very fast you also need a solid platform for efficient power production and the hard shell seat does this best.
The contoured shape is also enhanced by a unique set of lower body side supports by ICE to improve cornering performance. Finished off with the venerable Ventisit ventilated seat pad you have ultimate ventilation and comfort.

Folded dimensions:
37.6-55.1" L
x 31.3" W x 19.3-22.4" H depending on format.
