SCHLUMPF STRADAVARI

The Unicycle has been discovered by SCHLUMPF, the planetary gear people in Switzerland.  One of the ultimate ways in life to have fun while joining mind, body, and spirit.  It has been said that once you learn how to ride a unicycle, you will never get out of bed the same again. Until now, the unicycle has been a 1 speed cycle. With the introduction of the Schlumpf Stradavari, you now have your 1:1 ratio, plus a 36% overdrive, so longer distances are covered with ease.

The anodized aluminum frame features perfect geometrythanks to a modular design & distortion free construction, no welding.

The lower bridge is adjustable according to the seat position, thus resulting in extreme stiffness of the crown.

Seating is by Kris Holm, the best design with a convenient handle at the front.

Extra finesse is accomplished with the V Brake option with the lever located under the front of the seat.

Wheel format is your choice of  a mid width 19mm rim with a Schwalbe Marathon high pressure 35C width tire or a wider 31mm rim with a Schwalbe 2.35 width Big Apple tire for more comfort and security on varied terrain. 700C or 24" are the most chosen sizes, other diameters are available. Rims are double wall alloy with DT Swiss stainless spokes.

All Schlumpf drive gearing systems are very easy to shift, just push a button with the heel of your shoe! Push the gold button: high gear mode, push the silver button: direct drive mode 1:1. Experienced riders have no problem shifting on the fly!
