The basic principals are:

• Solid mounts for each bike so there is no sliding and swaying.
• Mounts into the box receiver on your vehicle, so is architecture neutral as far as your vehicle design.
• Rear mounting blocks less wind than a roof top system, less insect accumulation, and easier to reach your bikes in the age of the SUV.
• The parallelogram-pivoting feature means you press a lever with your foot, and the Draftmaster comes back and down for easy reaching when loading and unloading bikes. Additionally it maintains total access to the back of your vehicle, clearing swing up doors, tailgates, and trunks without disturbing anything.
